Marketing veteran Christina Clarke has joined the Sport Clips Haircuts leadership team as chief marketing officer (CMO). Known for delivering a "championship haircut experience," Sport Clips is the nation’s leading haircare franchise focused on men and boys, consistently ranks among the top franchises in the category, and was the first to have locations in all 50 states.
"Christina brings with her extensive leadership experience in brand and marketing strategy, having served as CMO at Raising Cane's and Wingstop, as well as holding senior leadership roles at Frito-Lay,” says Sport Clips CEO and President Edward Logan. "She has a proven track record of leading large teams, shaping high-growth strategies, and delivering meaningful results across public, private, and founder-led organizations. I’ve enjoyed getting to know Christina as a person and am enjoying working with her. She has already hit the ground running, and I love the innovation and pace!"
In her new role, Clarke will oversee the brand's multi-channel marketing and communications, as well as partnerships and philanthropic initiatives, supporting 1,850 locations while expanding the franchise footprint across the U.S. and Canada. Her addition to the Sport Clips leadership team comes as Sport Clips focuses on re-energizing the brand and client experience while staying true to its sports-themed DNA. In her previous roles at Raising Cane’s, Wingstop, and PepsiCo, she achieved significant year-over-year and same-store sales growth through brand development, record-breaking performances in new markets, national recognition through celebrity and social campaigns, and transformed national and local partnerships with professional leagues, teams, athletes, and music artists.
Clarke earned her B.S. from Arizona State University, MBA in Global Business from the University of Phoenix, and is completing her doctorate at Marshall University. She has been recognized as a “CMO to Watch” by Business Insider and a Dallas "Top 25 Women in Advertising."
