Ranking scores Sport Clips Haircuts as one of the best franchise opportunities for veterans

GEORGETOWN, Texas

The ranking pros at Entrepreneur media are recognizing Sport Clips Haircuts 20th among its just-released 2020 Top Franchises for Veterans. Sport Clips moved up five spots and is the only haircare franchise in the ranking.

Sport Clips Haircuts was founded by a veteran, my father, and will remain committed to showing our gratitude to those who serve in the military and their family members. One of the ways we do so is by offering veterans discounted franchise investment opportunities through our affiliation with the International Franchise Association's VetFran program. Most Sport Clips locations also offer special pricing to U.S. service members and veterans, and much of our philanthropic focus is on veteran causes…primarily our VFW Sport Clips Help A Hero scholarship program," says Edward Logan, president and CEO of Sport Clips. "We're honored by rankings such as this one that recognize the benefit of choosing to be a part system that is veteran-friendly. It is affirmation of our on-going work to honor enlisted, deployed, and former military."

Entrepreneur says the ranking is based on survey data provided by individual franchises that offer incentives to veterans for joining their systems. From that input, its team developed the ranking of the top 150. This is the eighth year Sport Clips is one of the leading franchises in the ranking. Sport Clips is the official haircutter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and has several veterans initiatives as a part of its Haircuts with Heart.
