Survey Results: Do haircut clients feel more comfortable now when stylists wear masks?

Haircuts Survey Results ImageWhen Sport Clips Haircuts clients were asked what makes them feel most comfortable about getting a haircut as salons and shops reopen after COVID-19 shutdowns, their top response is their stylist wearing a mask. A survey group from among clients of 1,850 Sport Clips locations said that additional disinfecting of all equipment and fresh capes between clients helps put them at ease (26 percent) about returning for a professional haircut. Online check-in for a haircut also ranks in the survey (22 percent), but contactless payment and availability of hand sanitizer prove to be less important to haircut clients (1 and 3 percent respectively). Only 8 percent said "shortest wait time" was important in choosing Sport Clips.

An overwhelming number of respondents (87 percent) said they would not delay coming back for a haircut after visiting and seeing the new COVID-19 safety procedures in place at Sport Clips. 

When asked why they choose one haircut option over another, more than a quarter of the respondents said additional services, such as massaging shampoo and steamed towels, or what Sport Clips calls the "MVP Experience," Make a difference in their choise and 20 percent say the intentionally choose a location closest to quaranting central...their homes.
