This year, Sport Clips is proud to partner with Joe Gibbs Racing and will serve as the primary sponsor of NASCAR’s Joey Logano for his Nationwide Series car in two events (Phoenix- 4/17 and Daytona- 7/3.) Sport Clips will also ride as an associate sponsor on Logano’s Sprint Series #20 Home Depot Toyota.
Logano became the youngest winner in NASCAR Nationwide Series history June 14 when he captured the checkered flag in just his third career start on the circuit at Kentucky Speedway. The win, which was made more impressive by starting on the pole, came just three weeks after he turned 18, the minimum age required to compete in NASCAR’s top three series. In addition to his win in Kentucky, Logano earned three poles, five top-fives and 14 top-10s in only 19 Nationwide Series races.
