Four Illinois and Missouri stores raise funds to supportMothers Against Drunk Driving
(Tuesday, July 21, 2009) – Sport Clips stores in Carol Stream, Homer Glen, and Chicago, Illinois, and Florissant, Missouri, recently raised $3,000 in an effort to support the work of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Sport Clips Team Leaders (franchisees,) stylists, store managers, and clients worked together over several weeks to make the donation to MADD’s Northeast Illinois Region possible.
“We are diligent in supporting organizations in the communities we serve and the places where our owners and stylists live and work,” says John Kohler, Sport Clips Area Developer for Illinois and Northern Missouri. “We’re grateful to our clients for their contributions to this effort, and everyone on the Sport Clips team is thankful for the work MADD does in our area and across the country.”
“The Sport Clips fundraiser has been a great support to MADD,” notes Mary Gall, MADD region administrator. “Thanks to dedicated volunteers, MADD Northeast Illinois works in your own back yard to serve, educate and protect the public from the violent crime of drunk driving.”
